Performance
The performance of the Waterdrop faucet water filter exceeded our expectations, therefore scoring a decent editorial rating. Once installed, the filter stayed in place with the anti-leak technology barring the possibility of even the tiniest droplets of water.
We’ve had this model for about two and a half months at the time of this review, and we must admit that it’s no doubt a long-lasting pick. Its service life stands at 3 months or at least 320 gallons of clean water before you need to change the filter.
That’s definitely a good deal for a faucet filter on budget.
The quality of water that you get from the filter is different from what you get from the tap. Generally, the Waterdrop faucet filter effectively removes contaminants such as lead and fluoride from tap water, making it soft, healthy, and tasteful for consumption.
Water does flow quite well out of the filter. And while the pressure isn’t as much as what you get from the tap, it’s good enough to fill around four 17 ounces of water bottles in just 60 seconds.

From a design standpoint, DuPont is no doubt a well-made model at a lower price point. It’s not a perfect make in our opinion, especially because plastic tends to be fragile.
But it’s at least good enough for the job. At 2.62 x 5.75 x 5.5 inches in size, the DuPont water filter is one of the most compact models that we’ve ever attached to a faucet.
The chrome color looks great, so much that if you care about the appeal, this will add some aesthetic to your kitchen.

When we put the DuPont to performance taste, our primary expectation was that it would deliver the best results in a first attempt.
Given that it exceeded our expectations, we still have it attached to the water tap on our patio since we already have the Waterdrop model for indoor use.
From our test, we notice that this model reduced contaminants to a very great degree, leaving us with what we basically consider as soft water.
With DuPont, you worry less about foreign materials such as benzene, mercury, asbestos, lead, and capsules in water. At the end of the day, you get clean water with an improved taste that you can use for cleaning and drinking.

While our test confirms that the product delivers on its promise, we did notice some leaks after about 63 days of using the product. Maybe this is a rare special case.
But the drawback that everyone will notice after a while is that the filter doesn’t last long. You may need to replace it after 4 or 5 months give or take.
